As an equipped bench specialist, with the heaviest bench in history at 1,401bs in an unlimited and 1,120lbs in a single ply poly shirt I have been in love with the sport of powerlifting for over 16 years. I currently hold 6 active All Time World Records, including the heaviest single lift in powerlifting history with plans to achieve many more. I have met some of the greatest people in the sport and have had the privilege of learning from and lifting beside them. Now that I am out of the US Marines, I am focusing my passions on helping others increase their bench press.

Bench press has been my passion since I first started powerlifting. Like most lifters I started out doing all three lifts and even managed to get a 2410lb total at 218 when I was just 20 years old... but soon after that I realized that I didn't enjoy or need the squat or deadlift, and from there my bench only career began. Now it is my goal to help others increase their bench press, whether they are equipped or non-equipped.

ANDERSON POWERLIFTING
At age 19 I broke an IPF World Record with a 636lb benchpress. Ken Anderson was in the back of the room with a booth selling Titan Katanas. After timidly approaching him and telling him who I was and that I had just won that record using a shirt I bought off of him months prior, he gave me his card, some free t-shirts, and a handshake. Little did I know then that handshake was the beginning of a remarkable friendship. Over 15 years later, Ken Anderson has retired and handed the reigns to Kevin Pitman, who I am proud to continue to be an athlete for.
Team Anderson will always be my home.
